TVET Council Barbados Latest News
Ten employees of the TVET Council Barbados were rewarded for taking steps to be healthy.
They participated in the organisation’s Stepping into Health competition, which mirrored the national contest by encouraging persons to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps per day.
That’s equivalent to 30 minutes of exercise daily!
Winning for her four year straight was Gale Alleyne. She was rewarded with a weekend staycation for two at Courtyard Marriots.
Felix Delice placed second. He won a two-month gym membership and breakfast at Ocean Two Resorts.
Third place went to Antoinette Lashley; she was awarded a massage. Arleen Murrell Crichlow won a body scrub for placing fourth while Marika Byer a spa pedicure for fifth place.
The winning group was led by Executive Director of the TVET Council, Henderson Eastmond. It consisted of Rosline Cumberbatch, Gale Alleyne, Wendy McClean and Coral Ann Callender.
They each won breakfast for two at Ocean Two resort – the sponsor of the TVET Council’s Stepping into Health competition.
Sixth to tenth place went to Carol Ann Burke, Coral Ann Callender, Constance Prescott, Henderson Eastmond and Doreen Dean respectively. (PR/TVET Council Barbados)
