Our Standards Development Services include:

  1. Development of National Occupational Standards

    An occupational standard is a precise description of what an employee is expected to know and be able to do in the work role. The standard details the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for the work role. The occupational standards provide the basis for assessment within competence-based vocational qualifications, such as National/Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (N/CVQs).

    Length of time: 80 working days

  2. Reviewing of Regional Occupational Standards

    The process of reviewing the standard to determine relevancy and to make recommendations for updates to ensure the currency of standard is maintained.

    Length of time: 60 working days

  3. Validation of National/Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (N/CVQs)

    The process of reviewing the occupational standard and its qualification structure by the industry sector to confirm suitability for local use.

    Length of time: 60 working days
