The TVET Council Barbados is a Statutory Board established under the TVET Council Act 1993-11 to coordinate and promote workforce development. In support of this mandate, the Council is expanding opportunities for demand-driven training and skills certification by promoting occupational standards-based National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQs) to industry, and the education and training sector.
As the Awarding Body for NVQs and CVQs, the TVET Council (TVETC) is once again inviting eligible persons to train and register to serve in the part-time positions of Assessor, Internal Verifier or External Verifier.
Interested persons should submit their curriculum vitae and a cover letter indicating the occupational area in which they are interested, and how they meet the criteria, no later than Friday, December 27th , 2024, via the above web page. The cover letter should be addressed to:
