The Cisco Cybersecurity Operations Associate, delivered by INFOTEP which is a certified Cisco training centre, comprises twenty-eight (28) modules. Each module emphases critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and the practical application of skills. Practice and assessment with Packet Tracer and other activities designed to assess learner's mastery.

Objectives

CyberOps Associate v1.0 course will enable students to perform the following task:

  1. Use Cisco packet Tracker 7.3.3 or later
  2. Explain technical concepts for this level of interaction
  3. Apply useful skills and hands-on experience to their practice
  4. Develop critical skills and complex problem-solving skills
  5. Simulate real-world cybersecurity threats scenarios and create opportunities for security monitoring, analysis and resolution.
  1. Install virtual machines to create a safe environment for implementing and analysing cybersecurity threats events.
  2. Explain the title of the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst in the enterprise.
  3. Explain the Windows Operating Systems features and characteristics needed to support cybersecurity analyses.
  4. Explain the features and characteristics of the Linux Operating Systems.
  5. Analyze the operation of the network protocols and services.
  6. Explain the operation of network infrastructure.
  7. Classify the various types of network attacks.
Prerequisites

CyberOps Associate students should have the following skills and knowledge:

  1. PC and internet navigation skills
  2. Basic Windows and Linux system concepts
  3. Basic understanding of computer networks
  4. Binary and Hexadecimal understanding
  5. Familiarity with Cisco Packet Tracer.
