The TVET Council is a Statutory Board established under the TVET Council Act 1993-11 to coordinate and promote workforce development. In support of this mandate, the Council is expanding opportunities for demand-driven training and skills certification by promoting occupational standards-based National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQs) to industry and the education and training sector.
As the Awarding Body for NVQs and CVQs, the TVET Council is once again inviting eligible persons to train and register to serve in the part-time position of Assessor in the following areas:
Assessors can assess only in their area of occupational competence. They must have qualifications and experience at least one level above the level of the qualification they will be assessing.
Assessors are engaged by an approved N/CVQ Assessment Centre to conduct assessments as needed.
Those persons selected will be required to undergo an interview and a period of training in assessment, internal verification, or external verification. The training will be conducted onsite, and online (i.e. hybrid).
Cost Per Workshop: BDS $700.00
